Prächtige Fette Hen
These succulent perennials will grow almost üanywhere as long as there is good drainage, so very low maintenance. Sedum spectabile Brilliant is an eye-catcher in any green space, the fleshy, grey-green leaves and stems as well as the flowers, which bloom in late summer/autumn, make you think of broccoli with their bright red to purple colours. The leaves remain on the plant for much of the winter and then fall off at the end of winter to form new shoots immediately.
What are buttercups suitable for?
The stonecrop, as it is popularly known, is an all-rounder plant and has many uses, in borders, rockery, in the garden or even in groups in the garden, it looks good everywhere. This plant attracts bumblebees, bees and butterflies and offers plenty of pollen and nectar.
Sedum spectabile Brilliant in the Garden
Sedum Spectabile Brilliant is frost-hardy and well tolerant of pruning. This particularly robust plant should not be missing among the autumn flowers. Plant this perennial in a sunny spot and you will be rewarded with a colourful display of flowers during the flowering season. Planted in the garden, the plant will spread over the years. When fully grown, the stonecrop reaches a height of 30 to 50 cm and remains compact with a width of about 15 to 25 cm.
