The small and densely bushy Weigela florida 'Foliis Purpurea' delights with the striking colouring of its many flowers. The corollas are funnel-shaped and bell-shaped, purple-red on the outside and blue-pink on the inside. The height of this Weigela is 100-150 cm. The Weigelie, with deep brown-red foliage, is very robust and adapts perfectly to soil and site. This summer-green garden plant likes sunny to semi-shady spots, less flowers are produced in the shade. As a frost-hardy shrub, the Weigelie is suitable both as a solitary plant and for planting in areas. This plant attracts bumblebees, bees and butterflies and offers sufficient pollen and nectar.
The plants are pot-grown, so you can use them all year round.
