Our dwarf fruit trees have a trunk of 40 - 60 cm and are about 120 cm high in total, but surprise with a rich harvest and pure taste. Castanea sativa is a chestnut with white; yellowish flowers in May-June. The tasty fruit of the chestnut is contained in a 5 to 6 cm wide, prickly husk.
