The Carpathian bellflower 'white clips' is a beautiful low growing perennial
The low bellflower 'white clips' is ideal for planting in beds and walls, but is also beautiful to look at in borders. The Carpathian bellflower, also called Campanula carpatica white clips or bellflower, enchants every observer with its brilliant white large bell-shaped flowers.
Campanula carpatia is bee-friendly and attracts butterflies
The summer-green bellflower white clips flowers from June to August. It is bee-friendly and attracts butterflies with its scent. You can prolong the flowering season by cutting off faded flowers close to the stem. Its leaves are heart-shaped and toothed and Campanula carpatica forms small cushions, growing up to 20cm tall.
Ideal locations for the low bellflower ´white clips`
A perfect location for the bellflower white clips is a stone planting or wall crown. It also does well on barren, rocky ground and in open spaces. It should be planted in a sunny spot, but will also thrive in light shade. Campanula white clips can be planted all year round in normal garden soil. It does particularly well in nutrient-rich, moist but well-drained, loose soil. It is recommended to mix a little sand into the soil. The bellflower needs a little compost, horse manure, nettle manure or bought fertiliser from time to time, as it needs a lot of strength during its flowering period. Campanula is best cut back from spring to autumn, but it is often sufficient to cut out only the wilted parts of the plant.

If the beautiful plant is planted in the bed, it is recommended to cover the bellflower with fir branches in icy temperatures. If you plant the beautiful bellflower in a pot, however, it is advisable to bring the plants indoors from zero degrees. There it needs a cool, somewhat darkened and frost-free room. The Campanula white clips is easy to care for and robust, which makes it highly recommendable for garden beginners, but also as a gift, because it is a perfect present.
