The holly or Ilex meserveae Blue Maid got its name from its spiny foliage. The leaves grow blue-green and, planted as a hedge, form a beautiful, natural screen from the neighbour's garden. You can look forward to October and November, when the holly literally comes into flower. During this time, bright red berries grow on the branches, enriching your garden landscape. Ilex meserveae Blue Maid prefers a well-drained soil and thrives best in a sunny or semi-shady position. It is best to prune the holly at the end of the summer.
Delivery of the holly hedge element:
ilex meserveae Blue Maid consists of approx. 4 densely grown plants in the size 100 (length) x 40 (width) x 150 cm (height). The plants have already had several years of good and careful care and have been pruned regularly. As a result, they have developed an unusually strong root system, which has also been regularly pruned. The hedge is delivered in a biodegradable box that can be planted right away and will decompose by itself. You can also purchase the ilex hedge element in decorative planters made of wood, steel or polystone. You will receive a free drip system for irrigation with every hedge.
Note: Due to the size and weight (150 kg per element), the elements must be delivered by a forwarding agent. The costs for this depend on the quantity and distance, therefore we would like to ask you to contact us by telephone before placing your order so that we can discuss the delivery modalities.
