Pure White Myrtle brings a whole new look to your garden, a plant whose bright white flowers stand out against the brilliant red and black foliage of the plant. The Lagerstroemia has a long flowering season, which lasts from early summer until the first frost, and also keeps its foliage through autumn and winter, so it is always green. Myrtles are versatile, they are often planted as solitary plants, in groups or as foliage plants on terraces. With its colourful appearance, it is a real eye-catcher.
Plant the Pure White in a sunny, warm place. There are only a few requirements for the soil, it should be well drained and not too moist. When old, the plant copes well with drought, so you will have a very low-maintenance plant. In spring, you should give the crab myrtle a heavy pruning so that it can sprout strongly, and this also encourages larger flowering plants. The flowering period requires warm temperatures. The plant has an upright and fast growth and can reach a height of 2.50 - 3.00 metres.
