These elements of the redwood create a beautiful, fresh green hedge with needle-like leaves. Through autumn these leaves take on a golden hue and then turn brown in winter until they finally fall off. The Metasequoia glyptostrobioides is one of the few conifer species that shed its foliage in the cold season. The joy in spring is all the greater when the first new leaves appear on the orange-coloured branches of the giant sequoia. The redwood hedge grows best on wet ground. It is very low maintenance and should be pruned between May and June.

Delivery of the primeval redwood hedge element:

Metasequoia glyptostrobioides consists of 4 densely grown plants in the size 100 (length) x 40 (width) x 200cm (height). The plants have already had several years of good and careful care and have been regularly pruned. The hedge is delivered in a biodegradable box that can be planted right away and will decompose by itself. However, you can also purchase the hedge element sequoia in decorative planters made of wood, steel or polystone. You will receive a free drip system for irrigation with every hedge.

Note: Due to the size and weight (150 kg per element), the elements must be delivered by a forwarding agent. The costs for this depend on the quantity and distance, therefore we would like to ask you to contact us by telephone before placing your order so that we can discuss the delivery modalities.
